Johns Hopkins Grad Student defenseman Scott Smith (Conestoga) has been named a USILA Preseason First-Team All-American.
Smith was a First Team USILA and Inside Lacrosse All-American and a Second Team USA Lacrosse All-American in 2024, when he also earned First Team All-Big Ten honors. He counted two goals, 56 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers to his credit last season and has 124 ground balls, 55 caused turnovers, seven goals and one assist in his career.

Smith ranks fourth in school history with his 55 caused turnovers and has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in each of the last three seasons. Smith was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2024 and has earned the honor a program-best four times in his career.
