Halifax uses 7-2 4th-period run to down Wings, 13-10

The host Halifax Thunderbirds outscored the Philadelphia Wings, 7-2, in the fourth quarter to sprint to a 13-10 victory on Saturday night in NLL action.

Mitch Jones reached 700 NLL career points, pacing the Wings (5-5) with a hat trick plus three assists for a six-point night. Mike McCannell, who only had two goals in his 40-game NLL career before Saturday, scored two goals in the contest.

Michael Sowers (Upper Dublin) scored one goal in his second NLL appearance, flying in for an acrobatic tally.

The Wings will look to get back in the win column next Saturday night when they visit the Albany Firewolves at 7:00 PM.
