The Fusion Futures 2029 team has etched its name into the history books by winning back-to-back National Lacrosse Federation (NLF) Championships — becoming the first team from the Philadelphia area to achieve this feat.
With dominant performances across the field, the Futures showcased why they are among the nation’s elite, defeating Eclipse, 8-3, in the title game at Farmingdale, N.Y. Goalie Hunter Poet was nearly unbeatable between the pipes, allowing just three goals in the championship game. Midfielder Cale Seaman brought relentless energy and precision on both ends of the field, while attackman Brady Brevic led the offense with dynamic scoring and playmaking.
On the defensive end, Mick Slachta, Ryan Lamberson, and Tyson Norman anchored a unit that consistently shut down opposing offenses. Norman not only contributed with strong defensive play, but also added to the scoreboard with a goal of his own — a perfect example of the team’s ability to make plays in transition and capitalize all over the field.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Desi Gonzalez, the Futures have consistently ranked among the top teams in the country. With this latest title, they are once again in strong contention to finish the year as the nation’s No. 1 team — a distinction they’ve held in previous seasons.
