Duke sophomore goalie Patrick Jameison (Conestoga) was named Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for games played from February 16-23.
Jameison tied his career high with 14 saves to help No. 6 Duke rally from a 7-5 fourth-quarter deficit to an 8-7 overtime win over No. 19 Michigan on Saturday. A native of Devon, Pennsylvania, Jameison made six first-quarter saves as Duke held Michigan to just one goal in the first 15 minutes. He added four more in the second quarter to bring him to 10 in the first half. In the second half Jameison made four stops, including three during the Blue Devils’ fourth-quarter comeback to help Duke force overtime. Jameison also picked up a career-high six ground balls and caused a turnover.
Marquette’s Snyder (Westtown School) is the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Marquette freshman Noah Snyder (Westtown School) posted the first five points of his career in the 15-7 win over Cleveland State on Saturday with a hat trick and two assists. He assisted both of sophomore Beau Westphal’s second quarter goals and recorded all three goals after the half. His first two scores came consecutively to end the third quarter and pushed MU from a two- to four-goal advantage after 45 minutes.
Princeton’s Blake (Haddonfield) is Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week
Senior attacker McKenzie Blake (Haddonfield) has picked up right where she left off, scoring six time in her 2025 debut to earn Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors for the first week of the season.
Blake accounted for six of Princeton’s 11 goals in a 13-11 loss to No. 8 Virginia in the opener, tying her career high for goals in a game in the process. She now has 148 career goals which ranks No. 7 all-time by a Princeton Tiger.
The Ivy Offensive Player of the Week award for Blake is the third of her career, joining selections on Feb. 27, 2023 and April 8, 2024.
