The 12th annual Play For the As event will take place at multiple venues over the weekend of April 25-28 this year and fully supports the efforts to help caregivers of loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Check out the apparel shop. The store closes after today.
All funds raised go directly to local families whose lives are deeply affected by the challenges of 24-hour-a-day/365-days-a-year care of their loved ones. The event organizers work with The Community’s Foundation (Ridley Park, PA) to identify and support those who need help to maintain their health to provide the best care to the patient.
Donations are also graciously accepted through this bio link and at any of this year’s games. Phillylacrosse.com is proud to be a co-sponsor of the event along with founder Jef Hewlings, who ran the event as coach at Strath Haven and Ridley before retiring last summer.
