Team Philly wins Command championship at All-America Lacrosse Underclass Tournament; all-tourney picks (B/G) released

Team Philly claimed the Command (2027-28) championship Sunday in the All-America Lacrosse Underclass Tournament, powered by New Balance, in Maryland.

Philly went 7-0 and toppled Upstate NY, 9-6, for the crown. All-tourney pick Mike vanBastelaar (La Salle) had 16 goals to lead all Command players in the tourney while all-tourney Daniel Lucovich (Malvern Prep) had 13 and tourney MVP Conor Morsell (Haverford School) had 11. Each of these players scored twice in the title win. On defense, Sam Kelleher (Malvern Prep) was an all-tourney pick. Each of these players scored twice in the title win. In goal, Moe Sobel (Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) had 5 saves and Roman Ippoldo (La Salle) had 4 stops. Philly team coaches: Brian Dougherty (HC), GT Corrigan (AC), Paul Zelenak (AC)
