Registration open for Black Bear LC summer camps (B/G) in Avalon, Sea Isle City

Registration is open for the Black Bear LC summer camps down the shore for boys and girls.

Dates: Avalon Session 1, July 1-5;Avalon Session 2, Aug. 5-9.

Sea Isle City Session 1 – July 22-26 Sea Isle Session 2-August 12-16.

Time: Avalon – 9am-noon, Sea Isle City – 9-11:30am

Location: Avalon – 10th Street Fields, Sea Isle City – Dealy Field

Cost: Avalon – $275/week, Sea Isle City – $195

Ages: 4-14, Boys and Girls

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Equipment Required: 

Girls – mouthpiece, stick, and goggles.We do not have rental equipment for girls.

Boys – mouthpiece, helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, stick. Equipment can be rented for an additional $90/week.

Rental does not include a stick.

Girls and boys should bring a reversible pinnie, but can be purchased for $20 at registration.

What to expect: Black Bear Lacrosse camps have been hosting co-ed summer camps for 20 years in Avalon and Sea Isle City, teaching campers the skills and fundamentals of the sport in a fun-filled environment. Players of all skill levels are invited to participate with a detailed camp curriculum broken down into four areas: FUN in Fundamentals Curriculum, Speed and Agility Sports Training, Position-Specific Training, and Team-Specific Skill Development. Through each stage in the curriculum, campers will learn the proper technique and fundamentals of the game, and further develop their lacrosse IQ.

Highlights: This exciting camp atmosphere is run by elite local coaches and college players.

 Coach Bryan Arra, Head Coach of Haverford High, and Coach Brett Hoffecker former Oakcrest Head Coach are Co-Directors.

The Girls Director is Justine Chishko, who coaches at Oakcrest High School.

The owner of the Black Bear Lax Beach Camps is Jon Heisman who is in the Eastern PA Lacrosse Hall of Fame and is the winningest coach in Pennsylvania history.
