True Lacrosse Philly is proud to announce the hiring of Will Pilat as its Recruiting Director.
Pilat is the current Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Immaculata University, completing his first season this spring. He came to Immaculata after spending seven years with the Wesleyan University Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff, including his last four years as Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. 
As True Philly Recruiting Director, Coach Pilat will be the primary resource to the program’s high school athletes as they navigate through the college search process.
Some of Coach Pilat’s duties will include conducting grad class-specific recruiting presentations, one-on-one player/family meetings, video highlight assistance, academic and athletic goal setting, college coach interaction prep, and managing True Philly’s recruiting staff.
Rounding out the True Philly College Recruiting Staff are Vaughn DiBattista and Stephen Hogan. DiBattista is an admissions counselor at Eastern University and previously played college lacrosse at Ursinus College and coached for multiple seasons with True Philly. Hogan is a former admissions counselor at Cairn University and played lacrosse at Chestnut Hill College, also coaching for multiple years with Bucks Select, True Philly, and at the collegiate and varsity high school levels.

With Coach Pilat joining our staff, our True Philly student-athletes have the resources both on and off the field to achieve their goals at any level,” said Peter Burns, Vice President at True Lacrosse.
Pilat will continue to serve as Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Immaculata University, adding his duties as True Philly Recruiting Director for the program’s over 350 participants.
“I’m very excited to be a part of a great organization in True Lacrosse. I’m eager to help guide student-athletes and their families through the recruiting process and to find the best fit for them to continue their academic and athletic careers in the sport of lacrosse. This is a great opportunity, and I cannot wait to get connected to members of the True Lacrosse community” said Pilat of his new role with True Philly.
True Philly has limited openings for the summer season and will hold tryouts in July to form teams for the 2024-2025 club year.
