Holden Cattoni netted the game-winner 1 minute and 35 seconds into overtime Saturday night to lift the visiting Philadelphia Wings to a 12-11 thriller over previously undefeated Saskatchewan in National Lacrosse League action.
Cattoni had five goals and Mitch Jones contributed two goals and seven assists, while rookie sensation Brennan O’Neill added two goals and six assists for the Wings, who won their third straight game and improved to 3-1.
The Rush, who scored three fourth-period goals to force overtime, fell to 3-1.
Joe Resetarits had a goal and four assists for Philadelphia while Nick Damude made 47 saves, and Scott Dominey had 11 loose balls.
