One of a series of scholastic previews for the 2024 season

Central Bucks South

Last year’s record: 6-12 Overall

Coach’s Outlook: “We have seven returning players and a few younger players that we know will make an immediate impact on the field. The girls have been working very hard this offseason and are ready to get started. Our motto is ‘ALL IN’ and the girls have shown that with their efforts every day at practice. We know that we have a competitive league, and anyone can win on any day. Playing the top schools in our non-league schedule will help us to continue to improve and be ready for our league games.”

Council Rock North
League: Suburban One National Conference
Coach: Denise Noseworthy 6th year
Assistant coaches: Paul Deppi 2nd year
Last year’s record: 10-8
Key returners: Seniors Maddy Mela, Julie and Charlotte Ondria, and Taylor Deppi are back as starters for offense; Senior Liza McBride is back after a year off from injury. All play attack and midfield. Junior Lucy Carney returns as the starting goalie. On defense juniors Kiely Lions and Abby Steadman return. Sophomores: Cat McBride is a strong mid with Olive Esposito and Gabby Mann at attack
Others to watch: Freshman Ellie Carney
Coach’s Outlook: “This is the strongest team I have coached. We have a lot of talent in the senior class and great ball movement. The catching skills of the seniors are fantastic. If we work together, we should do very well. The defense is looking good with Lucy Carney (goalie) leading the way. We have a sister act with the Ondria, McBrides, Deppie’s and Carney’s. It should be a fun season! Looking forward to a great season, we have a lot of tough games but I think it will only make us stronger.”nci
