Garnet Valley
League: Central League
Head Coach: Jenny Dooley, 12th year at GV and as head coach, overall record of 186-57-2. Assistants: Carly Shaup, Ali Donohue, Angie McKeever, and Dan McManus
2023 Record: 12-7-1
Opener date: March 15th, vs. Mount St. Joe’s
Key returners: Jess Bellis, Jenny Green, Liv Perry, Mia Raucci, Sav Saunders, Sammy Wood,
Key newcomers: Nina Cianci, Zoe Coggins, Carly DiCandilo, Samia Frati, Ellarose Griggs, Taylor Halloran, Erica Jones, Merrin Mink, Brooke McGovern, Hannah Pell, Ryann Razzano, Bella Sorokanych, Emi Trotter
Coach’s Outlook: “Our current team is incredibly enthusiastic, motivated, competitive, and ready to take care of unfinished business from 2023.”

Marple Newtown
League: Central League
Head Coach: Jalen Middlebrooks, Entering 2nd year as head coach, 10-9 first year, and have been in a head coaching role in college and club for 4 years total; Assisted by Kelsey Garraty, Allison Quigley, and Hanna Vandevere
2023 Record: 10-8 regular season, 10-9 overall
2023 Team Honors: Elizabeth Getz (100 goal milestone, 2nd Team All Central, Team Offensive MVP, HM All Delco, Philly Girls Scoring Leader), Amelia DiValerio (All Central League HM, All Delco HM), Mary O’Brien (PASLA Breakout Player of the Year, Team MVP), Emily Frescoln (All Delco HM), Rowan Hilden (150 saves milestone, Team Defensive MVP)
Home Opener: Mount St. Joseph’s on 3/20/24
Key returners: Elizabeth Getz (M), Ryan McGowan (D), Emily Frescoln (A), Riley Mattson (A), Amelia DiValerio (M), Rowan Hilden (G)
Coach’s Outlook: “We are feeling way more confident with a year under our coaches’ belt as well as another opportunity to prove (wrong) many teams’ narrative of Marple Newtown Girls Lacrosse. I am extremely excited for our returners/newcomers as we take on more challenging teams along with our challenging Central League teams. We will have the main goal of consistency and continue to have all gas, no breaks. Go Tigers!!!
