The IWLCA announced the 48 student-athletes selected for the 2024 Division II All-American teams, divided into first, second and third teams. These IWLCA All-Americans, representing 23 different institutions, are recognized as the top athletes in the sport this year.
Hannah Stanislawczyk (Gov. Mifflin) is a repeat first team selection, and senior defender, Grace Frasso (Cinnaminson, N.J.) moved up from the second team last spring to join Stanislawczyk on the first team. Classmate Julia Littlewood (Conestoga) earned her first All-America citation with selection to the second team. Junior defender, Kendall DiCamillo (Garnet Valley) made her initial appearance on an All-America squad with selection to the third team while graduate student, Jessica Gorr (Bishop Shanahan) is a repeat All-American as a third team selection as well.
Stanislawczyk makes her third appearance on an All-America squad and her second on the first team. She was a second team pick in 2022 and a first teamer a year ago. She ranks among the Top 10 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in nine offensive categories and sits in the Top 10 in the nation in three of those same categories as well. She scored 92 goals for the second straight season and is fourth in all of Division II. Her 122 points leads the PSAC and is fifth in the country. Her 4.45 goals per game ranks fifth in the NCAA as well.
The high-scoring midfielder inked her name all over the school record book during her four years at West Chester. She set the school record for career goals (302) becoming the first to eclipse 300. She graduates fourth all-time at WCU in scoring with 361 career points. That total puts her sixth all-time in the PSAC while her 302 goals is second all-time in the conference and fourth all-time in Division II history. Her 351 career draw controls is tops in WCU history while her 99 caused turnovers ranks fourth at West Chester.
Frasso ranks among the Top 10 in the PSAC in two defensive categories. She ranks second in ground balls (68) and second in ground balls per game (3.24). Frasso also Her 68 ground balls ranks 11th nationally while her 55 caused turnovers ranks sixth in Division II. She is 12th in the country in caused turnovers per game. Frasso graduates as a three-time All-American at West Chester University having been a third team pick in 2022 and a second team pick in 2023, before her ascention to the first team this season. She ranks second all-time in ground balls at West Chester with 201 to her credit. Only her and former WCU Hall of Fame defender, Katie Crouse, picked up more than 200 ground balls in a career. Frasso’s 193 draw controls is fifth all-time at the school and her 144 caused turnovers ranks third in school history.
Littlewood turned in her best collegiate season in her senior year. She ranked second on the team in scoring with 70 points, evening that total out with 35 goals and 35 assists. She ranks fourth in the PSAC in assists and ninth in points. She took over duties at low attack at the ‘X’ and filled in admirably where the Golden Rams needed her. Littlewood tied a school record with eight assists in a win over Shippensburg on March 23 and finished that game with 10 points.
DiCamillo has been a starter on defense since stepping foot on campus, and this spring finally gets the recognition she deserves as one of the best defenders in the PSAC. She ranks 16th nationally in ground balls and 24th in ground balls per game. The local product ranked second on the team in both ground balls (58) and caused turnovers (35) behind first team All-America pick Grace Frasso. She scooped up a season-best seven ground balls on three different occasions and had a season-high five caused turnovers against Slipper Rock in the conference semifinals.
Gorr makes her second appearance on the All-America squad. She was a first team selection in 2023. The grad student leads the PSAC in goals-against average (8.11) and is fourth nationally in that category. She also ranks fourth in Division II in save percentage and is 23rd in saves. The Exton, Pa., native ranks among the Top 10 in the conference in four defensive categories altogether.
