The third quarter favored the Maroon and White. Senior midfielder Connor Freeman found Lehman in stride to open the second-half scoring. With three seconds left on the clock, Mathes completed his hat trick to give Lafayette a two-goal cushion (7-5) at the end of at the end of three quarters.

Drexel edged Lafayette 10-19 in faceoffs, with junior Evan Prince (Harriton) going 9-of-18 on the evening. Defenseman Sean Rushton (Malvern Prep) also was a key for Lafayette.
