Coach’s Outlook for 2024: “We have a great group of motivated upperclassmen leading our largest pool of V and JV players in several years. Our schedule will challenge us to perform at a high level of play but will prepare us for the type of lacrosse needed to win at the end of the year.”

Wilmington Friends School
League: Delaware Independent School Conference (DISC)
Head Coach: Jake Rashkind (21st season at WFS Record 208-115)
Assistant Coaches: Kevin Grubb, Bryan Pentoney, Lee Powers, Lou Salvadori
2023 Record: 15-3 Advanced to State Tournament Semifinals, 2023 DISC Champions
Opening Game: at Polytech 3/25
Key Returners: Ethan Lukach (So. Goalie) Quinn Green (Sr. Defense/LSM), Tyler Maheshwari (Sr. Defense), Andrew McKenzie (Sr. Defense), Kevin Dolan (Sr. Midfield) Nick Winchell (Sr. Attack), George Rossi (Sr. LSM/D) Braden Shipp (Sr. FO), Ben Osbourn (So. Midfield)
Key Newcomers: Buzz McGuire (Jr. M), Nash Maheshwari (Fr. Mid),
Coaches Outlook for 2024: “The Quakers return an experienced defensive core that proved stingy in 2023, allowing opponents an average of only four goals a game. If goalie play and face-offs are key factors for success, then the Quakers like their chances behind sophomore goalie Ethan Lukach and senior FOGO Braden Shipp. While the offense will consist of some new faces, seniors Nick Winchell and Kevin Dolan bring experience and consistency to a group looking to repeat as Conference Champions and to make another deep run in the state tournament.”
