Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 2026 attackman Cole Carberry has committed to the admissions process to play Division I lacrosse at Brown University.
Cole Carberry profile:
High school: Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, Philadelphia, PA
Position: Attack
Grad year: 2026
College committed to: Brown University (admissions process)
Club team: Team 10
Why did you choose Brown? “I chose to commit to Brown to succeed both athletically and academically. I am so excited to play under Coach (Jon) Torpey and his new staff, who are new to Brown this year. They have done an amazing job establishing a winning culture already, and I have no doubt that they will get back to the top of the Ivy League and be national championship contenders consistently. I see it as an opportunity to come into a program, build something really special, and leave it better than I found it. Besides the lacrosse piece, Brown offers an amazing education along with an abundance of extremely successful alumni that will set me up with the opportunity to be successful for the next forty years of my life. The campus is beautiful and has a suburb feel to the city of Providence.”
Thank Yous: “First and foremost, I want to thank my parents who have always put in so much time and effort to allow me to be the best and most successful version of myself. I also want to thank my club coaches, Coach Conners and Coach Wolf, along with my high school coach, Coach Doc, for developing me into the player I am today.”
Other schools considered: PSU, Yale, Maryland, Cornell
