The Annual PKO Invitational Lacrosse Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 9 at Penn Charter
This tournament is an annual tradition in memory of Peter K. Ortale OPC (’83) who was lost in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Peter was a two-time high school All-American and, as captain, he led Penn Charter to the 1983 State Championship.
Peter went on to become a two-time All-ACC midfielder at Duke University and captained the Blue Devils in 1987. The PKO Invitational brings together the Philadelphia lacrosse community for camaraderie, friendly competition and to celebrate Peter’s love of the game. Philly area club, high school, and middle school teams will be playing games throughout the day.
