Virginia sophomore Rachel Clark (Conestoga) was named the ACC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday (Feb. 28).

Clark led Virginia with seven goals in its 19-9 win over then-No. 23 Louisville. The Devon native’s seven goals were a career high. Clark had two goals in the first half as UVA battled back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game 6-6 at halftime. The attacker took over the game in the second half, scoring five goals as the Cavaliers outscored the Cardinals 13-3 in the second half.
Clark hit the eventual game-winning goal to punctuate UVA’s 4-0 run to start the second half and take the final lead of the game. She added three goals in five minutes of game time as UVA opened up a 14-8 lead.
Clark has scored a hat trick in all four games and has scored six and seven goals in each of UVA’s last two games, respectively. She currently leads the ACC and is third in the NCAA with 5.00 goals per game.
Blake is Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

Blake scored six times in a 17-9 road win over Temple, and added four ground balls as well while winning one draw.
Temple’s Mastropietro, Shallow earn AAC awards
For the second straight week, Belle Mastropietro (Springfield-Delco) and Katie Shallow (Cardinal O’Hara) picked up weekly honors from the American Athletic Conference. Mastropietro earned Midfielder of the Week honors, while Shallow was placed on the Weekly Honor Roll. This serves as Shallow’s third weekly award from the conference in three possible weeks.
Mastropietro had a solid all-around performance in the Cherry and White’s 1-1 week, netting four goals and adding two assists for six points. In addition, she grabbed five ground balls and caused five turnovers, which included a five caused turnover performance against Delaware. Where the senior truly stood out was the draw circle, grabbing 21 draw controls between the two games, including 15 against No. 17 Princeton. She now leads the team with 21 points on 15 goals and six assists in five games.
Shallow shined for the Cherry and White once again, earning two caused turnovers, seven draw controls, and five groundballs in the 1-1 week. In addition, the junior netted her first career goal, scoring just nine seconds in to play in the 9-7 win over Delaware.
