Notes – Agnes Irwin moved into the No. 4 spot with a 1-goal win over Archbishop Carroll. Based on their performances against elite out-of-state teams, it’s possible to say that Philly’s Top 5 teams could match up with the top squads from Baltimore and Long Island. For example: No. 3 Episcopal Academy dropped a heartbreaking 1-goal game at McDonogh School (MD), Archbishop Carroll defeated Notre Dame Prep (MD) on the road, and EA downed Stone Ridge (MD) on the road and blitzed St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (VA).
Games to watch: No. 4 Agnes Irwin hosts Lawrenceville School on Tuesday; No. 5 Archbishop Carroll hosts No. 9 Garnet Valley on Wednesday; No. 3 Episcopal Academy travels to No. 7 Penn Charter on Thursday.
