Springfield-Delco’s Tom Lemieux won his 200th game as head coach Wednesday when the Cougars routed Penncrest, 17-1, in a Central League boys’ lacrosse game.
Lemieux has a 200-55 record in 12 seasons. His Cougars are 13-2 overall and 9-1 in the Central League, one game behind first-place Radnor. Springfield is ranked No. 9 by Phillylacrosse.com and No. 3 in the PA State Rankings in 3A.
Lemieux has guided the Cougars to two PIAA championships, in 2016 (when the PIAA was all in one division) and 2017 (Class AA) and three District 1 crowns – 2015 (one class), 2017 (2A) and 2021 (3A). He was named Phillylacrosse.com Coach of the Year in 2016.
