Springfield-Delco recently held a special get-together with several other long-time lacrosse contributors to honor its first boys’ lacrosse coach, the legendary Stu Brown, at TJ Rockwell’s Restaurant in Elizabethtown, PA, which is close to where Coach Brown now lives. Coach Brown, who is 94, founded the Springfield-Delco Lacrosse Program in 1969 and is commonly known as the Father of Eastern Delaware County Lacrosse and the Father of Springfield Lacrosse.
