Registration open for Performance Academy Winter Box Training and League at Steelyard Sports

Are you and your team ready for the 2024 season? Looking to be trained by professional coaches to help prep you for the season in a safe constructive environment? No better way to do so than attending the Performance Academy Winter Box Training and League at Steelyard Sports.

Powered by Performance Academy’s professional coaching staff. Each week teams will have a 45-minute practice followed by a 45-minute game. The season will end with the top two divisional teams battling for a Championship Trophy!

Only 4 Teams Per Division & 9 Weeks of Team Training & Games

ALL DIVISIONS ARE 75% FULL

  Divisions, Days & Possible Practice/Game Times

All Programs Held at Steelyard Sports, 538 Swedeland Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406

  • High School Boys – Fridays (6-7:30pm & 7:30-9pm)
  • 2028 & 2029- Saturdays (2-3:30pm & 3:30-5pm)
  • 2030 & 2031- Saturdays (11am-12:30pm & 12:30-2pm)
  • 2032 & 2033- Saturdays (8-9:30am & 9:30-11am)

Programs run December 1st through February 10th. No practice or games on December 22, 23, 29 & 30, 2023

Training Highlights – No better way to get your fitness, stick and team chemistry dialed in for the 2024 season. Be a more efficient shooter, improve your dodging, footwork, communication, vision, defensive approaches, and angles. Understand how to set and defend picks as well as make quick decisions in tight spots, and much more. All in a safe and controlled environment.

Training Staff

Todd MacFarlane, Scottish National Men’s Team Assistant Coach, US Lacrosse National Team Development Program Evaluator, former Redwoods LC Assistant Coach in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), University of Pennsylvania and Maryland Men’s staff member and National Lacrosse League Professional (NLL)

Chris Collins, current Redwoods LC Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Coach (PLL), former Drexel University and University of Delaware Assistant Coach, Eight Year Major League Lacrosse Professional (MLL), Thirteen Year National Lacrosse League Professional (NLL), and US Men’s Indoor National Team Member.

Program Highlights-

  • Teams must carry at least 13 players. Max 15
  • The league will use modified box rules.
  • 4 vs. 4 plus a goalie.
  • No cross checking, boarding, slashing,or open field hits.
  • Box goalie gear will be provided if needed.

Fee $350 per participant (13.5 hours of practice/games)
