PA Roughriders have announced their tryouts for July 11 and 12 at West Chester East High.
Operating for 15 years, the Roughriders feature elite coaching, including Jon Heisman, of Bishop Shanahan High, the winningest coach in PA history; Jamie Lockard, head coach at Shipley School and former head coach at Widener; Paul Zelenak, offensive assistant coach at Episcopal Academy; Doug Corrigan, former UVA player, past Villanova, Widener, and Archmere assistant as well as more assistants from Shanahan, Episcopal as well as current NCAA stars.
With a rich tradition, Roughriders boast a player on each NCAA Champion this year, Notre Dame, Salisbury and Leonoir-Rhyne as well as dozens of players at all levels and alumni on NCAA staffs. The Roughriders play with the top teams at tournaments like Platinum Cup, Crab Feast, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, NXT Invitational, NAL. Players receive instruction in fall, winter and spring workouts in addition to summer season. The team is sponsored by New Balance and Warrior for equipment.
