Notes – Picking a No. 1 team is a challenge every week. Archbishop Carroll gets the nod this week; based on its eight-game win streak and recent victory over Owen J. Roberts. OJR moves to No. 2; its victory over No. 3 Conestoga was early, but very impressive. Episcopal Academy has three losses, but the best non-league schedule and now a two-game lead in the rugged Inter-Ac and still warrants consideration for the top spot. No. 5 Penn Charter has five straight wins, including Friday’s 8-7 OT victory over Agnes Irwin, now at No. 6
Games to watch: No. 6 Agnes Irwin looks to get back on track when it hosts No. 8 Springside CH on Tuesday; No. 7 Springfield-Delco hosts Strath Haven Thursday in a key battle before its Central League showdown next week with Conestoga; No. 14 Cape Henlopen travels to South Jersey Saturday to meet Ocean City.
