How do you define leadership? “I believe that a leader doesn’t always have to be the loudest person in the classroom or on the field. To me, leadership is cultivating relationships with those around me and pushing them to be their best selves. Whether it be lifting a teammate up when they are having a bad day at practice, or helping someone next to you in class, leadership can be demonstrated in many small ways.”
How do you balance academics, service, and athletics? “For me, the key to balancing academics, service, and athletics is time management. When I designate time for my passions throughout my day and stay on top of my work, I am able to give 100% and fully enjoy what I am doing. I believe that a balanced schedule is the way to success and happiness!”
What are your future goals? “Next year I will be attending Washington and Lee University to play lacrosse. My goal for the next four years is to learn as much as possible on the field and in the classroom. I am so excited to be a general and explore all that W&L has to offer academically and athletically. My biggest goal is to win a NCAA Division III Championship with my future teammates!”
