West Chester University came in at No. 3 in the preseason women’s lacrosse poll compiled by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Inside Lacrosse (IL) released Monday afternoon.
The Golden Rams, coming off a 17-3 campaign in 2022 and reaching the Atlantic Region final, returns nearly all 12 starters, including three All-Americans and its top nine point-getters from a year ago. Add two key transfers into the mix, and West Chester will once again be in the mix in the Atlantic Region.
The ILWomen/IWLCA Poll will be unveiled Mondays throughout the season beginning Monday, February 20. It is voted on jointly by coaches throughout the country and members of the media.
