On Saturday, November 18, Penn Men’s Lacrosse and Haverford Men’s Lacrosse will host the Breakthrough ID Clinic, a free prospect camp for boys graduating in the classes of 2024, 2025, 2026, or 2027 at Haverford.
This free ID clinic is designed to remove barriers to collegiate lacrosse instruction and exposure. The event is open to everyone, but coaches are working to create a recruiting opportunity for first generation or low income players. Several colleges have committed to sending a coach to recruit, including Franklin & Marshall, Ithaca, Muhlenberg, Kenyon, and Wooster.
The clinic will take place from 1-5 p.m. and college coaches will be in attendance to instruct and evaluate clinic participants. This clinic also includes a Q&A session with a college admission representative. This clinic is capped at 75 participants
Directors still have player spots available in all positions.
“Growing the game of lacrosse means making it more accessible at all levels,” said Haverford coach Richard Carrington. “We hope this event will be the first of many conducted throughout the country.”
