The Duke’s Lacrosse Club’s Elite 2028 team finished a strong 9th place in the Lacrosse World Series Championship at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews, N.C.
Dukes entered play seeded No. 17 in the 25-team field and finished 4-2 overall, defeating BBL (NJ), 6-3, for ninth place after qualifying for the playoffs.
Goalie Michael DePetris was named First Team All-World and attackman Mason Smith earned Second Team All-World honors.
