Paul Murphy, Immaculata University Director of Athletics and Recreation announced that former Downingtown West coach and West Chester University grad Brittney Conzentino has been named Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.

“I am extremely excited that our student-athletes will have the opportunity to work with Brittney as she brings her passion and energy to share with the Immaculata community,” said Murphy. “Brittney’s success at Downingtown West will undoubtedly help her to build the quality program we expect at Immaculata, and we look forward to supporting her to achieve the lofty goals she has set for the IU women’s lacrosse program.”
Conzentino comes to Immaculata after spending nine years at Downingtown West. During her tenure, Conzentino led the Whippets to State tournament appearances in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. She served as the Ches-Mont League’s representative to the All-American Committee from 2015-19.
“I am delighted to accept the opportunity as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Immaculata University. I would like to thank Paul Murphy and the entire athletic department for believing in my vision to foster a team-oriented culture made up of skilled, compassionate, dedicated young women” said Conzentino. “Our staff will focus on developing well-rounded student-athletes by concentrating on honesty, integrity, effort, and attitude, on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
“I am excited to work with the current team, work in partnership with new faculty and staff, and begin a new legacy at Immaculata. I would also like to thank you to my family, and the entire Downingtown lacrosse community for helping me step into this new role. I am immensely grateful!”
Conzentino, is a 2014 graduate of West Chester and was a three-year member of the Rams’ Lacrosse team. During her time at West Chester, the Golden Rams were Division II National Semifinalists in 2010 and 2011, and National Finalists in 2012. She is employed as a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Downingtown West High School.
