From Press Release
The Cabrini University men’s lacrosse team is set to compete in its 21st NCAA tournament as the Cavaliers received the automatic qualifier with their 23-6 win over Marymount University Saturday to win their 22nd conference championship in program history.
The No. 19-ranked Cavaliers will square off against the No. 10-ranked York College Spartans on Saturday, May 13 at host institution Tufts University. First faceoff is set for 3 p.m.
Cabrini finished this season with a 14-4 overall record as the Cavaliers went undefeated in conference play for the 22nd straight year. Their difficult non-conference schedule ranked them in the top-10 nationally in RPI.
The Cavaliers are 1-2 all-time against the Spartans with the last meeting being a 9-6 loss back on April 8, 2022.
Cabrini enters the tournament on a four-game win streak and looks to extend it all the way to the program’s second national title in four years.
