Week 4 results from the Arrowhead Summer league at Cairn University.
Philly Phresh 9, Viking Hawks 0
Phresh (4-0) dominated both sides of the ball, forcing transition, while playing tough, hard nosed defense. Phresh were led defensively by senior goalie Gavin Ammlung (Father Judge), who posted the shutout. At the midfield, Phresh senior Marquan Gayle controlled the faceoffs and scored two goals. Offensively, junior Jason Smaron (Father Judge) had 2 goals and 3 assists to drop the Viking Hawks to 2-2. Phresh is the only undefeated team and has punched its ticket to the championship game in two weeks.
CR North 8, Truman 1
CR North (3-1) was able to control both sides of the ball as well as dominating faceoffs, led by sophomore Payton Niefer (1A, 9-11 on faceoffs), while sophomore Ryan Schaffer scored 3 goals in defeating Truman (0-4).
Pennsbury 10, Purple Cobras 3
Pennsbury controlled the faceoffs, led by senior Mike Dezutl (11/15 at the X, 1 goal). It also dominated the offensive side, led by senior Will Taylor with 3G & 4A to even its record at 2-2. The Purple Cobras fell to (2-2) on the summer.
