Coatesville 2024 defender/midfielder Alexis Fields has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at La Salle University.
Alexis Fields profile:
High school: Coatesville Area Senior High (Coatesville, PA)
Grad year: 2024
Positions: Defense, Midfield
College committed to: La Salle University
Club team: NXT Lacrosse Girls
Lacrosse honors: Rookie of the year, Varsity letter as a freshman, NXT 2021 Fall Philly All-Star team
Academic honors: National Honor Society, Honor Roll
Why did you choose La Salle, women’s D1? “I chose La salle because they were one of the first schools to show interest in me. They also went above and beyond to show just how much they wanted me there! When i was going through this whole process my biggest thing was to go where I am wanted. The coaching staff are amazing and I can really see myself making a difference on the team. I also like how it’s not too close to home but far enough, and it’s a plus that I get to play with two of my closest friends (Maya & Marley Rhymes) who I played at Coatesville with.”
Is there anything else you would like to share? “Special thanks to my parents, my NXT family, and my Coatesville family for pushing and believing in me!”
