.@THEDUKESLC wins 3 youth championships at Beach Lax Festival in Ocean City, MD

The Duke’s Elite 2027 team went undefeated and won the championship last weekend at the Beach Lax Festival in Ocean City, MD. Keys to the championship were a stingy defense and strong goaltending, smart play from the attack, and a midfield that kept the pressure up on both sides of the ball. Coaches were Pat Lacon, Brian Delaney, and Jeb Brenfleck.

Duke’s 2027 champions – (Attack) Iggy Bradley, Cole Aaron, Eric Divario, Brady Flynn, Grahm Young; (Midfield) Kieran Cole, Rocco Davis (F/O), Finn Delaney, Evan Placoraris (F/O), Justin Russo, Rocco Trivarelli, Michael vanBastelaar, Luke Weisel ; (Defense) Naim Hammond, Finn McCafferty, Joey Morrissey, Owen Auchey (Inj.); (Goalie) Mac Weinstein

Duke’s Elite 2028 avenged an early loss in the tournament to Blue Claws, winning the Championship game 7-2. Coaches were Rick Smith and Bill Moore. The 2028s got contributions from its entire roster en route to taking home the medals.

Duke’s 2028 champions: Front Row- Gabe Ryan, Tyler Moore, Jack Rynearson, Michael Goffice, Drew Racliffe, Rowan McGonigle, Michael Christiana, Kyle Intal, Chase Struthers, Back Row- Colin Scott, Will Carr, Mikey DePetris, Logan Cornes, Mason Smith, David Guarnaccia, Chase Dallas, Carter Henning, Dom Charlesworth, Brady Wainwright, Drew Shallaway, Cavan Stahl, Keehan Petock, Sean Flaherty Coaches- Bill Moore and Rick Smith

Duke’s Elite 2030 earned its second straight tournament championship, going undefeated with big wins against Annapolis Hawks, Team 91, and Kelly Post on the final day.
