From Temple Press Release
After a fantastic showing against Army, 16-5 last weekend, goalkeeper Annie Carroll (Hill School) has been awarded IWLCA National Division I Defender of the Week. This is the second time this week Carroll has been honored after receiving AAC Defender of the Week on Monday.
Carroll starred for the Owls in goal. She put together one of the best goalie performances in recent memory. Carroll racked up 12 saves against 15 shots faced on target in her first start in Cherry and White. Her .800 save percentage is the highest single-game save percentage recorded since Temple began keeping track of the stat in 2010.
