The University of South Florida head women’s lacrosse coach Mindy McCord, announced the signing of the 2023-24 inaugural class on National Signing Day.
The signing class of 20 spans across 11 states, with the most coming from New Jersey. Maryland follows with three. The class includes two goalies, three attackers, five midfielders, three defenders, and seven two-way players.
“We are thrilled to have such an outstanding group of young women to represent our first recruiting class and inaugural team,” said McCord. “This class spans 11 states and is comprised of players and families who are ready to put USF on the map and create a legacy.”
The recruiting class will arrive on campus in fall 2023 and will spend the first-year training and playing exhibition matches in their spring season. The first competitive season will be the 2024-25 season.

A three-year midfielder for the Cardinal O’Hara Lions under head coach Jen Duckenfield…During her sophomore and junior season, she led her high school team in draw controls, caused turnovers, and ground balls…So far she has scored 74 goals and 61 assists in two years…She was a member of the 2022 MVP Philadelphia Catholic League, 2022 MVP PASLA League, 2022 All-Academic PASLA team, 2022 First Team All-Delco…She earned All-Delco Honors in 2021…She is a member of the Dynasty Elite Lacrosse Club…Academically, she has earned the President’s Award, Lamp of Learning Award, Principal’s Award, as well as being named a Kindness Ambassador…She was a member of the All-Academic PASLA and the National Honor Society.
