Penn Charter 2022 midfielder Darcy Felter has been named the Pansini Law Group Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
The award recognizes senior and junior lacrosse players that excel in academics, service and athletics.

Academic Honors: Cum Laude, High Honors every semester, Academic All-American
Community Service: Helped run Harlem Lacrosse clinics; Senior Project is with Harlem Lacrosse.
Lacrosse Honors: Inter-Ac League MVP, USA Lacrosse All-American, Phillylacrosse Honorable Mention Player of the Year, All-Phillylacrosse First Team, 110 points for Inter-Ac finalists as junior
How do you define leadership: “Leaders create an environment with high standards and intense competition but also support, integrity, and humility. Leaders do extra and inspire others to as well. Leadership isn’t about being the best or the most skilled, it’s about building an atmosphere that motivates every last person on a team to buy in and strive to improve not just for themselves, but for the people around them.”
How do you balance academics, service, and athletics? “I find that many of the lessons I’m taught on the field help me to find this balance. The drive, competitive spirit, and work ethic I’ve learned translates right to the classroom. Balancing my time and energy becomes much easier when I hold myself to a certain standard, a standard I’ve learned through competing.”
What are your future goals? “Short term, I hope to win the Inter-Ac and state tournament. We have such an amazing group of senior leaders who have been working toward this for 4 years now and have come so close. Long term, I hope to just keep getting better. Entering a program next year with arguably the best coaches in the game is such an amazing opportunity I have to learn, compete, and hopefully make an impact.”
