From Press Release

No. 1 Boston College (3-0) remains atop the IWLCA/Inside Lacrosse Division I poll for Week 2 after defeating UMass and Boston University this week. North Carolina, Syracuse and Stony Brook round out the top four with a Carolina win against Florida and Syracuse defeating Stony Brook head-to-head.

The Maryland Terrapins slid into the fifth spot after defeating Virginia at the start of the weekend off of big efforts from Aurora Cordingley and Libby May.

No. 22 Vanderbilt and No. 23 USC cracked into the Top 25 for the first time this spring, after defeating Notre Dame 14-12 and Jacksonville 13-12, respectively. No. 12 Denver made another jump up the polls, previously being ranked No. 15 with a road win against Stanford this Friday.

Check back each Monday morning for the release of the new ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll. The ILWomen/IWLCA Polls consist of voters representing college coaches and media members who follow the weekly happenings across women’s lacrosse.
