Plymouth Whitemarsh High School

League: Suburban One American

Coach: Ellen K. Reilly 32 years
Assistant coaches: Michelle McLoughlin, Charmaze Banks

Last year’s record: 2021 Sub One League American Division 8-3, Overall 10-10, Lost in 2nd round of Districts.

Notable losses: Raya Gauntlett, Attack, Mackenzie Leszczynski, Mid, Duquesne, Haley McCourt, defense, Wingate, Brenna Budd, Defense, St. Andrews, Clancy Lynch, Goalie

Key returners:  Brianna Austin 11th Midfield, Fiona Goonerate 11th Attack. Ella Clark 11th, Midfield, Meghann Wendler 10th, Attack, Bri Reynolds10th, Defense

Outlook: “After the past several years of inconsistent practice and games due to the pandemic PW Lacrosse is excited to get back to the normal grind. We have a small group of experienced players who have become good leaders and whom are showing a big group of underclassmen what it takes to become a playoff team. Becoming a team and learning how to work together and jell on the field will be important with a nucleus of inexperienced players.”

Upper Dublin High School

Coach: Dee Cross – 14 th Season at UD (27th Overall)
Assistant coaches: Katrina Borzelleca, Chris Cobb

Last year’s record: League Record: 9-7 League Overall:9-8
Played in 1st Round of District Playoffs.

Notable losses: Jenn McCarry – playing at UMass Lowell, Maisie Hanson, Allie Rock, Riley Brady, Sarah Brightcliffe

Key returners: Aditi Foster 10th/Attack, Tess Reardon 12th/Attack, Allie Gay 11th, D/M, Erin Eby 12th/Defense, Kelly Senior, 11th/Attack

Others to watch: Anna DiMartile, 9th/Midfield, Sophia Sirianni, 9th/Midfield, Paige Dinkel, 10th/Midfield, Abby O’Meara 9th/Defense

Strengths/Question Marks: “We have experienced Attackers returning. We have a young midfield and some new defenders that are working hard.”

Outlook: “We have a good mix of experience and good, athletic, young players. We are improving each week and hope to compete in our league. We are taking a trip to VA Beach over Spring Break to play 2 games.”
