Downingtown East
League: Ches-Mont
Coaches: Head Coach – Kelli McIntosh, Assistants – Kathryn Kropp, Stacy Brennan, Chris Collins. This is our 3rd season with the program (first season cancelled due to covid, last year we had a record of 15-6).
2021 Record and accomplishments: 15-6, made it to the second round of districts, lost to Conestoga and Owen J. Roberts in district playoffs last year to knock us one win short of making state playoffs
Key Players: Returning Midfielders: Nickie Prendergast, Eileen Hewitt, Karyn Michaels, Returning Defenders: Lexie Barton, Dylan Kropp, Elena Mastrog, Quinn Morrin, Jordan Higgins (goalie), Returning Attackers: Macenzie Haragos, Sofia Fanelli, Lexie Conte
Others to Watch: Riley Marks (freshman attacker/midi), Addy Mulhern (freshman goalie)
Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “Coming off of a strong season last year, we look forward to continuing our momentum with our current group in the 2022 season. We have a very solid lineup of a mixture of seniors as well as underclassmen all of which are essential parts on our team. We have a very versatile group that brings energy, quickness, and movement to our attack. We have many threats to score this year and we look forward to taking advantage of that. We have a very solid core group of experienced defenders that work well together as well as a group of ambitious younger defenders that will get time for us this year. We have very high hopes for a successful 2022 season and a good playoff push this year.”

Lauren Tinson- senior middie, 4 year starter, Penn State commit, led in draws in 2021, 1st team all Chestmont, and PASLA All-Academic
Maddie Greco- senior middie, 3 year starter, Penn State commit, led in goals in 2021, 1st team all Chestmont, and PASLA All-Academic
Lainey Straub- junior, 3 year starter, Penn State commit, led in assists in 2021,
Libby Strauss- Senior goalie, 3 year starter, Liberty commit

Autumn Blair- Freshman middie/defender
Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “This year’s team has the potential to be very good. We have all the tools needed to be successful, and the girls have some unfinished business from last season that they are looking to accomplish. Our biggest asset this season will be our versatility. We have 7 or 8 true middies on this team, which makes us tough on both sides of the ball when needed.”
