Strath Haven 

League: Central

Coaches: Pigeon Graham (7th year as head coach), Megan Fizzano, Betsy Glassford and Bridget Crow

2021 Record and accomplishments: Runner up in both the district 1 championship and the 2A state championship

Key Players: Kaitlin Nieczpiel (Mid), Laura Connor (Attack), Ali Broome (Defense)

Others to Watch: Molly Omrod (Attack), Grace Kelly (Attack)

Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “Strath Haven is excited to get back at it. Our team is young but talented and the coaches and I are excited to see how they develop throughout the season.” 

Penncrest High School

League: Central League

Coaches: Caitlin Morgan, Jackie Baker, Kathryn Flick, Katie Doyle (5th year taking over the program)

2021 Record and accomplishments: 12-6, lost in 2nd round District 3 playoffs

Key Players: Annalynn Pompetti, Sophie Pasnack, Kate Stanton, Kat Harding, Mira Kuttymartin, Celeste Cahill, Taryn Tagtmeir

Others to Watch: Kenzie Grant, Adisyn Bernhardt, Kaitlyn Roth, Kate KIrchgasser

Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “The chemistry on this team cannot be beat and it translates on the field. Our transition game has improved tremendously with such great connections and we have so much depth on our roster.  We have such great leadership from our seniors, a handful of sophomores who have gained so much confidence from starting as freshman, and eager and gritty freshman and juniors who are all looking forward to being tough competitors in a tough league.”
