2021: 8-7 – a team of largely freshman and sophomores fought their way back to the state tournament.
Key players to watch: Jackson Redd (Jr. Attack), Kevin Dolan (So. Midfield), Cole Morris (Sr. Midfield), Jake Bryson (Jr. LSM), Tyler Maheshwari (So. Defense)
Others to watch: Nick Winchell (So. Attack), A.P. Rossi (Sr. Mid), Don Morton (Sr. Mid), Phil Crock (Jr. FO), Xingyu Wang (So. Goalie), RJ Toogood (Sr. Attack/Mid), Quinn Green (So. Defense)
Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “The Quakers look to take another step forward this season, with a young but talented offense led by shifty Junior Attackman Jackson Redd, midfielders Cole Morris, Kevin Dolan, and A.P. Rossi. The defense looks to improve in front of its young goalie, (So. XIngyu Wang), with junior LSM Jake Bryson helping to anchor a young, but athletic group of defenders.
“The Quakers face a tough conference schedule, but are optimistic that these challenges will prepare them to advance further in the state playoffs in 2022.”
Sanford School
Coach: Tim Lucky, 5th season with an overall record of 46-18
2021 record: Overall 16-1, reached state semifinals
Key players: Collin Cambell, Attack committed to St Joe’s; Devon Lucky, committed to Fairfield; and Dom Pompeii, committed to Monmouth.
Up and coming players: Brady Colarik Sophomore mid; Cameron Taylor, Freshman goalie; Brayden Lasensky, freshman FO/ mid.
Coach’s outlook for 2022: “We’re super excited to get started. This years team is anchored mostly by our senior class with high expectations from our talented sophomore and freshman class.”
