Starting in June, the HEADstrong Foundation will present the Nicholas Colleluori Summer Lacrosse League (NCSLL), giving collegiate lacrosse players an opportunity to train and play during the summer.
The first of its kind in the region, the NCSLL is open to current Division I, Division II and Division III collegiate men’s lacrosse players in the greater Philadelphia area. Comprised of eight teams, players will compete over a seven week regular season and vye for a championship in week eight.
Players can register at https://headstrong.org/ncsll/ based on position. Each player will then be placed in the pool and teams will be announced prior to the start of the league schedule.
Participation in the NCSLL is free thanks to the support of league sponsors Dakota, Creative Financial Group, True Search, Devon Construction Services, Hinge Health, The Niggeman Family Foundation, Gola, JM Search, Hammersmith Real Estate and BumpBoxx.
In lieu of free participation, each player will be armed with a fundraising link and tasked with raising $150 to fund a night of lodging at Nick’s House. A guest residence operated by the HEADstrong Foundation, Nick’s House provides complimentary accommodations for families displaced to the region in pursuit of lifesaving cancer care.
