Ben Bobrick may be a little late in the recruiting scene, so he has much to show college coaches.

“I want to show the coaches all aspects of me, whether it be my skill, personality, coachability, or drive,” said the 2023 goalie from John Carroll Catholic (FL). “This fall club season I’d like to improve on clearing and being more patient with the ball, and seeing the field with all my options.”

Bobrick, who plays club for FCA Treasure Coast, is a “Player to Watch” for the Victory Events Liberty National Elite Fall Showcase Nov. 12 at the Chase (76ers) Fieldhouse in Wilmington, DE.

There are limited spots remaining for all positions except goalie, which is sold out. Click here to register – https://victoryeventseries.com/liberty-national-elite-showcase/.

“I kind of started late in the recruiting, but my major strengths are communication skills and attitude,” Bobrick said. “I’m trying to develop that quarterback kind of brain.

“At the showcase I plan to get to know my teammates early so we can call slides; that will help me with facing shots. The better we get to know each other, the better we’ll play. I want to form that concrete layer of trust.”

Bobrick is also working on his clears and defending one-on-ones.

“I am focusing mostly on being more patient during clears and following the ball better on cross crease one-on-ones,” he said.
