Black Bear Lacrosse Club will be offering a FREE Boys and Girls Lacrosse Clinic on Sunday August 21st from 10am to 12pm at Perkiomen Valley High School with monetary donations accepted to help support the local area’s Daily Bread Food Pantry. Black Bear will MATCH the total monetary donation from the clinic to support the pantry.

Clinic Directors:
Bryan Churchey- Co-Owner/Director Black Bear LC, Head Varsity Coach Perkiomen Valley High School
Grady Wise- Co-Owner/Director Black Bear LC, Head Varsity Coach Boyertown High School
Dulcie Rothermel- Former All-American Player at Division II West Chester University and former Boyertown Head Coach
Gabi Umstead- Former Player at Division III Goucher College, Youth Coach for Brandywine LC.
The clinic will also feature local coaches and players from the surrounding community!
The goals of the clinic are to:
- Practice fundamentals of catching, throwing, and ground balls
- Improve your skills – regardless of experience
- Learn position-specific skills for offense and defense (beginner-intermediate-advanced skills offered)
- Introduce the sport of Lacrosse to anyone looking to try the sport for the 1st time. (rental gear is available for those that need it!)
- Have fun!

When? Sunday August 21st 10am to 12pm
Who? Boys & Girls entering grades K through 8th for the 2022-23 school year!
Players are encouraged to make a monetary donation to the Daily Bread Food Pantry at the clinic, Black Bear Lacrosse Club will MATCH the total amount donated.
If you are a beginner looking to try out lacrosse please email us blackbearlacrosseclub@gmail.com as we do offer rental equipment for both boys and girls including a lacrosse stick!
