After another successful run to the NCAA Tournament in 2021, the Seton Hill men’s lacrosse program picked up a few preseason honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine this past week. Three members of the Griffin team were named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All American Team.
Senior goalkeeper Kevin Mo (Perkiomen Valley) was named to the first team. Grad student midfielder Thomas Hanulak earned second team honors while senior face off specialist Logan Gray was named to the third team.
Mo was also named the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Goalie of the Year.
Last season, both Mo and Hanulak were named USILA All Americans following spectacular seasons. All three of the Griffins were USILA All Region selections in addition to being All G-MAC selections. Mo was named the G-MAC goalie of the year. Mo was also a USILA Preseason All American before the 2021 season.
In 2021, Hanulak finished second on the team with 27 goals scored. He added seven ground balls and five caused turnovers. Mo was 10-3 on the season with an 8.55 goals against average. He finished the season with 149 saves. Gray won 65% (222-341) of his faceoffs. He led the Griffins with 143 ground balls.
Seton Hill will open the 2022 season at home on February 5th when they host Lewis.
