Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore midfielder Bryce Reece (Lenape) and three members of the CACC champion Chestnut Hill College men’s lacrosse team earned USILA Honorable Mention. They were joined by Seton Hill goalie Kevin Mo (Perkiomen Valley).
Reece had 24 goals and 13 assists and helped lead LR to the NCAA Division II championship where it lost to Le Moyne 12-6.
CACC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year and senior attack Carson Rees, graduate faceoff Zachary Ornstein and senior midfielder Ben Revak (Archmere Academy, Aston, Pa.) were named for Chestnut Hill.
Rees led the CACC in goals (41) and points (66), while garnering three CACC Player of the Week awards (4/26, 4/13, 3/15) and three USILA Division II Team of the Week (5/4, 4/13, 3/31) selections. Rees record his 41 goals on 97 shots and has paired them with 25 assists to finish his collegiate career as the Griffins’ all-time points leader (206 points). He has also recorded 23 ground balls, six caused turnovers, and was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team.
Ornstein was the CACC All-Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP). He was dominant on the faceoff with a 215-of-274 (.785) success rate and a league-high 153 ground balls. He has recorded four goals, two assists, and three caused turnovers, while garnering three CACC Defensive Player of the Week (4/26, 4/13, 3/15) awards and four USILA DII Team of the Week (5/12, 4/27, 4/13, 3/16) appearances.
Revak also a CACC All-Tournament Team member. He was named the CACC Player of the Week on March 29 after recording six points (3 goals, 3 assists) and a team-high four ground balls in a 15-12 win over Roberts Wesleyan College (March 27). Revak finished the season with 39 points (27 goals, 12 assists), 13 ground balls, and a caused turnover.
Mo was 10-3 on the season with an 8.55 goals against average. He finished the season with 149 saves, helping Seton Hill make the NCAA tournament.
