Why did you choose Belmont Abbey, Men’s D2? “I chose Belmont Abbey because when I stepped foot on campus I felt at home. I come from an older, smaller school and I just feel in love with that style of school and that’s exactly what Belmont Abbey was. The school also has a very good sports management program with internships in a growing sports city. It’s ten minutes from downtown Charlotte, but when your on campus you feel like you’re in the rural area.”
Thank You: “I want to thank my parents for helping me find the right school for me. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them. They taught me so much and I was able to see them both work hard to achieve what they dreamed for and I want to do the same thing. I also want to thank Coach Princehorn for helping me with this process; he was always there for me and always pushing me in practice. He’s been more of an uncle-type role model then a coach. The first time I played for him I knew he was a special man with dreams of all his athletes playing college lacrosse. I also want to thank the Sankey family for always pushing me to be great and to never give up on my dreams.”
