Nazareth Academy 2022 defender/midfielder Maggie Miller has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Neumann University.

Maggie Miller profile:

Maggie Miller

High school: Nazareth Academy High School (Philadelphia, PA)

Grad year: 2022

Positions: Defense, Midfield

College committed to: Neumann University

Club team: Ultimate Lacrosse

Why did you choose Neumann? “I chose Neumann for a couple reasons. Neumann has an amazing Nursing Program! I always wanted to play lacrosse in college ever since I started playing which was 5th grade. Neumann gives me the opportunity to major in Nursing and play the game I love. I talked to a couple lacrosse players on the team and they had this energy that was something I would love to be apart of. Neumann is close to home yet far for me to get the chance of living on campus!”

Thank You: “I would love to thank my first Coach from HEADstrong, Debbie White; Coach Kim Connolly from Lansing; my Ultimate Lacrosse Coach, Molly Wolf; my Nazareth HS Coach, Kristin Teklinsky, who spotted my talent and made me better! All my coaches made an impact to my skill. I would also like to thank my teammates from every lax team I played for, for the love and help they all gave me! Last but not least, thanks to my family, Ed, Kim, and Eddie, who told me my flaws with no doubt and made me realize things off and on the field and supported me through it all.”

What other colleges did you consider? Seton Hill, Shepherds, and Widener
