HS Girls’ Previews: South Jersey’s Haddonfield, Moorestown

Haddonfield Memorial HS

League:  SJILL 

Coaches:  Jessica Blake (head coach) Lauren Farrell (Asst) 12th season at HS, 12th season of program, record at HS 161-63

2019 Record: 20-4,  NJ Group 2 State Champions

Key Player:  McKenzie Blake

Others to Watch: Mia Rothstein, Jenna Walls, Emily Smart, Juliet Walls

Coach’s Outlook for 2021:  “This will be somewhat of a rebuilding year, coming off of Back- to – Back State Championships.  We have a strong core returning and we are excited to see what the younger players will add to the team.   During the pandemic we continued to bond as a team via virtual workouts, selfie photos and a team “pass the ball” video.  The girls are super excited for April 1st when they can return to the field.”

Moorestown High School

Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “We are looking forward to being back on the field together. Despite missing last season we are out to prove we can still compete at a high level.”
