Season Outlook: “While I was certainly proud of the leadership opportunities, team-building activities, and systems put into place last year virtually because of Covid-19 (see below), the cancellation of the lacrosse season, while necessary, was disappointing for our players. This year we are moving forward with excitement and while on the field success is certainly desired, health and safety must take precedence so there will be mitigation protocols in place. As a varsity lacrosse program, we will be working to build each student athlete’s lacrosse skills and support each young person’s academic and emotional development. We are happy to be playing!”

The challenges of a virtual season in 2020 were plenty and here are the ways in which the team spent time with each other while virtual:

  • Stick Sisters
  • Virtual meetings (team sessions and one-on-one) with the coaching staff
  • Senior led discussions with teammates
  • Lacrosse team continue to post-workout images & “happenings” on their app
  • Team is continuing with leadership & growth workshops
