They have maintained a high energy and are starting to put together the pieces to build this program. We have committed six players to play NCAA lacrosse during the pandemic from a team team who has not had a chance to play together. We have built a very difficult schedule and we are excited to get out there and start working through it. Sit back and relax – Westtown will be one to watch!!”

Coach’s Outlook for 2021: “We graduated 10 seniors of which 7 were starters last year, so we’re a young squad this year. The effort from all in the preseason has been outstanding and the lacrosse IQ gets higher with each practice. I really like this group. They’re a team first squad that has bought into playing for each other. Sharing the ball on O and playing sound defense on and off ball. As a longtime trainer of goalies, I’m excited about our freshman keeper, Xander Gillen, he’s another example of a team first competitor that we’re trying to cultivate at Shipley.”
